OPERATION WRITE HOME’S MISSION (Formerly Cards for Heroes)

To support our nation’s armed forces by sending blank greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them.

CARD DEADLINES
Postmark by these dates:
Halloween: Sept 20
Thanksgiving: Oct 5
Christmas: Nov 1
Hanukkah: Nov 1
All other cards: Anytime!

Size The best size that allows the most cards into a box is 4.25″ x 5.5″, fitting into standard A2 envelopes.

Themes General are best for flexibility! Thinking of you, birthday, love, miss you, holidays are also loved.

AnyHero cards Write a short note in one of the cards you send in and encourage a hero far from home!

No glitter Sparkly messes can make heroes visible at night – so please don’t use glitter that flakes off the cards.

No Plastic Sleeves over cards.
Dark cardstock needs to be lined with light paper for writing on.
Write or stamp your name on the back of the card.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Include a packing slip with your contact info so we can thank you for your cards!
